Whisper Super Shih Tzu Saturday Shih Tzu of the Week
Todays Super Shih Tzu Saturday Shih Tzu of the week is Whisper. A beautiful little girl owned by Jan P.
2 years old
What are your favorite foods? Do you like fruit or veggies?
I like most fruits and veggies, especially green beans, asparagus, blueberries, raspberries, bananas and apples. I enjoy them very much and take my time chewing every little bite before swallowing.
What is your favorite toy?
Likes small stuffed animals.
Do you have a special place you like to be, either your bed, a trip to the beach or even a secret hiding spot?
She just wants to be with us. We can take her anyplace because she is so well-behaved and quiet. We have had several Shih Tzu but she is the first one who seems to love Mommy and Daddy the same. She was 6 months old when we got her. We had just started a 6 month trip out west in our RV (40′ bus). She fit right into the routine on the road trip as well as at home after the trip.
Do you perform any special tricks?
Will speak and dance for a treat.
What is the funniest thing you have done to your mummy and daddy?
We spent a month in our bus in Las Vegas and noticed Whisper showed an interest in the pigeons that were around. Being on a leash she could not act on her interest. Two months later we arrived in Jackson Hole, WY where we had a friend who had a horse boarding facility. The day we arrived it had been raining but had stopped. While I was parking and setting up the bus, our friend told my wife to let whisper loose because the area was fenced in. It did not occur to my wife that the free range chickens roaming around looked a lot like big pigeons. When Whisper spotted the “big pigeons” she was off like a flash chasing Jock, the big red rooster. She was in full coat and it hid her legs so it looked like she was flying across the ground, through the corral between the horse’s legs, over the manure pile and through the barn. Our friend’s pet chickens were running in all directions. One of the chickens Whisper was chasing ran between my wife’s legs and with a lucky grab, my wife was able to stop Whispers western adventure. We all had a big laugh and Whisper had a bath.
Do you have a bff?
The Shih Tzu down the street named Hershey. They get together for play dates several times a week.
This last question is for your mummy or daddy. If you could talk, what celebrity or person would you sound like?
Shirley Temple, she is cute, lovable, laid back, minds well, and loves little kids.
A special Thank You to Jan P for submitting Whisper as the Super Shih Tzu Saturday Doggie!
